We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Junior Finance Officer to join our team at Lumos Nigeria.

\

As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the management of accounting records, financial transactions, and reporting activities.

\Responsibilities\
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and payments through effective accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and identify any discrepancies.
  • Contribute to tax computations, filings, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Support cost analysis and financial forecasting to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to internal controls.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with business goals.
\Requirements\
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Completion of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with 0-1 year working experience.
  • ICAN certification in progress or completed.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
