About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in nutrition program management to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing programs that address the root causes of malnutrition, ensuring that all initiatives align with UNICEF's global strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition programs across various countries, focusing on maternal, infant, and child health.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to leverage resources and expertise, promoting a coordinated approach to addressing nutrition challenges.
  • Analyze data and research findings to inform program development and implementation, ensuring evidence-based solutions are applied.
  • Maintain relationships with key partners, including governments, donors, and civil society organizations, to secure funding and support for nutrition programs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to country offices and regional teams, ensuring best practices are shared and implemented effectively.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in nutrition program management, preferably in a humanitarian or international setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing large-scale nutrition programs, with a proven track record of achieving results.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of another official UN language or a local language is an asset.
What We Offer

In return for your skills and experience, we offer a competitive salary range: $83,378 - $125,459 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.

This position is classified as P-4 (Professional Level 4) under the United Nations common system classification. It carries a salary range of $83,378 - $125,459 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
