We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Ascentech Services Limited. This is a full-time position that requires excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related healthcare field and at least 2 years of experience as a Medical Secretary or similar administrative role. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs), databases, and Microsoft Office is also essential.

This role offers a competitive salary of $40,000 per annum, depending on location. Our office environment is organized and efficient, with a focus on promoting quality and cost-effective interventions and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patient appointments and manage cancellations/rescheduling efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments, treatments, and instructions
  • Maintain and update patient EHRs accurately
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information (HIPAA compliance)
  • Prepare and manage documents such as medical histories and discharge summaries
  • Develop effective working relationships with the medical team
  • Promote quality and cost-effective interventions and outcomes
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and payment processing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related healthcare field
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Secretary or similar administrative role
  • Experience working with EHRs, databases, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of medical coding, medical office procedures, regulations, and medical terminology
