Procurement Specialist

Job Overview
Purpose and Scope
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of assets, goods verification, and inventory management at DAYTONA.
Key Responsibilities
Goods Verification

Ensure that all purchased goods meet the specified requirements and match the provided specifications. Conduct thorough inspections to verify quantities of delivered goods and inspect for damage.

Inventory Management

Advise on methods to improve receiving, storing, inventory, and distributing materials and supplies, while maintaining accurate stock control records. Oversee the storage and organization of inventory to prevent loss or damage.

Delivery Inspection and Coordination

Verify delivery of goods to the appropriate location and/or person(s), providing continuous feedback to the Procurement and Logistics Manager. Ensure timely delivery of goods, collaborating with suppliers to resolve any issues.

Record Keeping and Asset Management

Prepare and maintain accurate records concerning the receipt and issuance of materials. Ensure the effective management of assets, including negotiations with suppliers and collaboration with the Finance Department.
