Ralds and Agate Limited is seeking an accomplished Oil and Gas Reserve Strategist to drive our reservoir engineering initiatives forward. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in reservoir engineering and operations, with a proven track record in strategic decision-making.

The Oil and Gas Reserve Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize oil and gas reserve management, including planning and directing reservoir engineering/field studies. This includes identifying, evaluating, and developing oil and gas reserves, as well as overseeing the estimation, assessment, and planning of oil and gas production and development projects.

A key aspect of this role is providing input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility, as well as leading activities to optimize producing assets from a reservoir perspective. Additionally, the candidate will develop reservoir performance prediction models and prepare estimates of in-place hydrocarbon volume.

The Oil and Gas Reserve Strategist will also review surveillance, analysis, and dynamic models, and provide direction on subsurface engineering required for proper asset reservoir management. Furthermore, they will support company-wide standard reservoir management practices and quantify risk and uncertainty to understand its impact on production forecasts and decisions.
