Financial Specialist

We are seeking a Financial Specialist to join our team at Hrleverage Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting transactions, forecasting and budgeting, reconciling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely bank payments, handling petty cash and expenses, interphasing with banks on behalf of the company, preparing invoices and receipts, computing taxes and preparing tax returns, and preparation of the company's financial statement.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all accounting transactions.
- Forecasting and Budgeting.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely bank payments.
- Handle petty cash and expenses.
- Interphase with bank on behalf of the company.
- Prepare invoices and receipts.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Preparation of the company's financial statement.
The ideal candidate should have a BSc in Accounting or any related field, 5 years of work experience as an Accountant or bookkeeper, ability to handle multiple transactional accounts, MS Excel skills, experience with general ledger functions, strong attention to detail and good analytical skills, flexibility, willingness to shuffle between Lagos and Port Harcourt, proximity to the office will be considered, young age range, and male gender.
