Chief Financial Strategist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Strategist to join our team at Whip-smart Service Providers Limited.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that support the company's overall business goals. This includes providing strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and projections, as well as overseeing the preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and projections
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including managing all aspects of the company's financial operations
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and maintain an effective system of internal controls
• Liaise with insurers to manage coverage and claims
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement
• Monitor industry trends and economic conditions to inform financial planning and risk management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA required
• 7 years of progressive experience with at least 3 years in a related role
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and data analysis
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a record of building and leading high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
