Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Design Instructor to join our team at Beautiful Ideas ltd. As a Design Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in interior design principles, space planning, and construction techniques. You will also develop course content and provide hands-on training to ensure students gain the necessary skills to excel in the design industry.

Responsibilities:

The Design Instructor will be responsible for:
  1. Teaching and mentoring students in interior design principles, space planning, and construction techniques.
  2. Developing course content and providing hands-on training to ensure students gain the necessary skills to excel in the design industry.
  3. Assessing student performance through assignments, projects, and exams.
  4. Providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  5. Staying updated on trends in the design and construction industry to keep training relevant.
  6. Coordinating guest lectures or partnerships with industry professionals to enhance learning opportunities.
  7. Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and performance.
  8. Participating in academy meetings and contributing to overall program improvements.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Additionally, you should have at least 3 years of experience in the interior design or construction industry. Prior teaching or training experience is an added advantage.
