Metal Assembler

Imoniyame Holdings ltd is a manufacturing company located in Delta, and we are seeking an experienced Metal Assembler who will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and fabricating metal structures and components using various welding techniques and equipment.

This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety to ensure the highest standards of quality in all projects.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

1. Planning layouts based on blueprints, drawings, and measurements;
2. Assembling and repairing metal components and structures with precision;
3. Maintaining and repairing machinery to optimize performance;
4. Assessing welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors and inconsistencies;
5. FOLLOWING AND ENFORCING STRICT SAFETY REGULATIONS AT ALL TIMES;
6. Monitoring machinery for appropriate usage and temperature to prevent damage;
7. Assembling and repairing complex metal structures and components.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• SSCE or Welding Apprenticeship Certification preferred;
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick);
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols accurately;
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work;
• Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude;
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
