Job Title: Financial Transactions Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cashier with a background in accounting to join our team at Jobvet Services.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for an individual with strong mathematical and analytical skills to process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transaction Processing: Process customer transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments, accurately and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues or concerns.
  • Cash Handling: Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial reports, including daily sales summaries and cash reconciliation reports.
  • Petty Cash Management: Manage petty cash fund and process reimbursements for approved expenses.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management tasks, such as tracking stock levels and recording sales.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, and exchanges.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar role, preferably with a background in accounting.
  • Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, including Excel.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
