Job Title: Strategic Finance Director

Xpedient Services is seeking a highly experienced financial leader to drive business growth and strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing financial operations, developing strategic financial plans, and driving business success.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned financial professional with a strong background in hospitality finance operations and business strategy. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing financial operations in a multi-property or multi-country environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and global hospitality industry standards.
    • Lead the annual budgeting process, including forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis to support operational and strategic goals.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team for business growth, cost optimization, and profitability enhancement.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance:
    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and management reports.
    • Ensure compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
    • Cordinate internal and external audits, ensuring financial controls are effective and audit findings are addressed promptly.
  • Cost Control & Revenue Management:
    • Analyze revenue streams, cost structures, and profit margins across different departments (e.g., rooms, F&B, events) to identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement cost-control measures and operational efficiencies without compromising service quality.
    • Collaborate with revenue management and operations teams to optimize pricing strategies and improve occupancy rates.
  • Treasury & Cash Flow Management:
    • Manage the organization's cash flow, ensuring liquidity for operational needs while maximizing investment opportunities.
    • Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships, foreign exchange risk management, and debt financing.
    • Monitor capital expenditures (CAPEX) and ensure projects are within budget and deliver expected returns on investment.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
    • Provide training and guidance to department heads on financial best practices, budgeting, and cost management.
    • Build strong cross-functional relationships with operations, sales, marketing, and HR teams to support business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree in Finance, MBA, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or CFA are mandatory.
