Financial Reporting and Analysis

At Matrix Design and Works, we are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead our financial reporting and analysis team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Additionally, they will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities. The Finance Manager will also analyze financial data to provide insights into the company's financial performance.

Budgeting and Forecasting

The Finance Manager will work closely with department heads to develop, monitor, and manage the organization's budget. They will prepare financial forecasts and long-term financial plans, track budgetary performance, and make recommendations for cost control and optimization. Furthermore, the Finance Manager will ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant financial laws. This includes coordinating with auditors and overseeing annual financial audits. The Finance Manager will also implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard financial assets.

Cash Flow Management and Inventory Control

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring cash flow, managing working capital, and optimizing liquidity. They will manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, oversee the disbursement and reconciliation of company funds. Additionally, the Finance Manager will track current production levels, record purchases and products in the store, manage inventory tracking systems to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels. The Finance Manager will evaluate deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures and analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages. They will also train and supervise store officers and delegate tasks and responsibilities to store officers. Finally, the Finance Manager will foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
