Senior Accounts Officer

At Matrix Design and Works, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and manage the organization's budget in coordination with department heads, and prepare financial forecasts and long-term financial plans to support strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant financial laws, and coordinate with auditors and oversee annual financial audits to maintain the integrity of our financial systems.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize liquidity to ensure the smooth operation of our business.
  • Store Inventory Control: Track current production levels, record purchases and products in the store, and manage inventory tracking systems to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights for decision-making, and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Taxation and Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes, and stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Systems and Technology: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and financial systems, and recommend and implement improvements to streamline financial processes.
  • Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
