Project Supervisor

FORT KNOX OUTSOURCING - Our client, a leading Information and Communications Technology company in Nigeria, is seeking a highly skilled Outside Plant Project Supervisor to join their team.

The Outside Plant Project Supervisor will be responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of fiber optic cabling projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and scope. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of telecom industry best practices, and experience with fiber optic cabling and civil installation.

• Plan and execute fiber optic cabling projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery.
• Supervise and coordinate with contractors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project schedules.
• Conduct site visits to ensure project objectives are met and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Prepare and submit project reports, including daily activity reports, as-built drawings, and splice reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including estate/facility managers, residents, and customers, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Validate and track variations, milestone payments, and project snags until approval.
• Attend project meetings, including weekly review meetings, kick-off meetings, and customer-triggered meetings.

• University degree in Telecoms, Engineering, or Applied Sciences.
• Proficient use of fiber test tools, design software, and basic data analytics software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Sound knowledge of telecom industry best practices with regard to fiber and civil installation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
