About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Key Account Sales Professional to join our team in Lagos. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and deliverables.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and pitches to secure new business and expand existing customer relationships.
- Manage customer accounts, ensuring timely delivery of reports on customer needs, problems, competitive activities, and market opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and improve performance.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing and escalating customer complaints as necessary.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in a high-end sales environment.
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc) in any discipline.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with key stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and senior management.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with experience with ERPs and CRM systems an added advantage.
