**Job Overview**

HRPS is seeking a highly skilled Unit Accountant to join our team. As a Unit Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, including fixed payments, variable expenses, bank deposits, and budgets for our fine dining restaurant.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with bookkeeping and a keen eye for numerical accuracy. Responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns.

As a Unit Accountant at HRPS, you will provide accurate quantitative information on the company's financial position, liquidity, and cash flows while ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Auditing financial documents and procedures
  • Reconciling bank statements
  • Calculating tax payments and returns
  • Providing financial reports and analysis
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations
  • Managing daily financial tasks, including production reconciliation and stock count reports

Requirements:

  • BSc in Accounting or Finance or relevant degree
  • 3 years of work experience as a Unit Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and principles, including GAAP
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Additional certification (ICAN or ACAA) is a plus
