Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Operations Manager to oversee our operations in the tiles industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Plan and manage inventory effectively, ensuring spares replenishment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Raise requisitions for inventory as needed while adhering to approved procedures.
  • Spares Management: Oversee spare parts management and planning, ensuring availability and cost optimization. Conduct monthly physical verifications of inventory on a cyclical basis to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with SOPs for receipts and issues of spares, maintaining proper documentation and records. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory status, usage, and other relevant metrics.
  • 5S and Housekeeping: Implement and uphold 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain an organized and efficient workspace. Regularly assess and enhance housekeeping practices within the store.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and facilitate the growth and development of team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge in inventory management and store operations.
  • Loss Prevention: Establish and enforce necessary controls to prevent pilferage and ensure asset protection within the store.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate supply chain activities and improve overall store performance.
Requirements:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a management role within the tiles industry is required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices, excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in relevant inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary:

Negotiable salary based on experience: Estimated ₦250,000 - ₦400,000 per month depending on qualifications and experience.
