We are looking for a versatile and experienced Commercial and Humanities Teacher to join our vibrant academic team. If you are passionate about shaping students' understanding of business, governance, and society — and have the ability to teach a combination of Commercial and Humanities subjects — we welcome your application.Your primary responsibility will be to deliver engaging lessons across subjects such as Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Government, and Civic Education, while fostering a supportive learning environment that motivates students and promotes academic excellence. You will also assess student progress, design creative instructional content, and provide valuable feedback to support individual growth.Responsibilities:As a Commercial and Humanities Teacher, you will be expected to:Prepare and deliver engaging lessons across commercial and selected humanities subjectsTeach subjects such as Business Studies, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Government, and Civic EducationHelp students understand complex concepts in commerce, governance, and socio-economic issuesEncourage critical thinking, analysis, and real-world application of subject matterOrganize classroom lectures, assignments, assessments, and projectsFoster an inclusive and interactive learning environmentTrack and assess students’ academic performance and provide constructive feedbackSupport students with diverse learning needs through differentiated instructionCollaborate with fellow teachers and school administrators to enhance the academic programStay updated with curriculum changes and adopt innovative teaching methodsMaintain accurate student records and contribute to reports when requiredRequirements:Prior experience teaching both Commercial and Humanities subjectsStrong understanding of the Nigerian and British curricula for upper primary and secondary levelsAbility to teach a combination of subjects such as:Business StudiesEconomicsAccountingGovernmentCivic EducationSocial StudiesMinimum qualification: B.Ed./B.Sc. in Business Education, Economics, Accounting, Social Sciences, or a related fieldTRCN certification or equivalent is an added advantageExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong classroom management and interpersonal skillsGood knowledge of digital tools and instructional technologyPassion for education and commitment to student successOther Relevant Subjects (as applicable):HistoryCRS (Christian Religious Studies)GeographySecurity EducationLiterature-in-EnglishCreative ArtsEntrepreneurship About Glybridge Schools Limited: Glybridge Schools is a premium but cost-effective citadel of learning for boys and girls from pre-school to year 13 (sixth form), who receive intensive tuition, routed through a comprehensive hybrid of British and Nigerian curricula.
