Senior Quantity Surveyor

**Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Full-time, Hybrid

Location: Lekki

Salary: #6,000, gross) per annum
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-Contract Duties:**
1. Prepare detailed cost plans and feasibility studies.

1. Advise on procurement strategies and contract options.

2. Review and assess project designs for cost efficiency and value engineering opportunities.

3. Assist with tendering processes, bid evaluations, and contractor negotiations.

Post-Contract Duties:
1. Manage all financial aspects of assigned projects from inception to completion.

1. Monitor costs against budget and prepare accurate cost reports.

2. Assess and certify subcontractor and supplier payment applications.

3. Conduct risk assessments and support contract dispute resolution if needed.

Collaboration & Communication:
1. Liaise with designers, project executors, contractors, and consultants to support project delivery.

1. Attend site meetings and track progress against milestones.

2. Ensure alignment between project design intent and financial control.

Reporting & Compliance:
1. Provide financial forecasts and cash flow projections.

1. Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory standards.

Experience & Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, ideally within the interior design, fit-out, or high-end construction sector.

1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.

2. NIQS full membership, or actively working toward chartership (preferred).

Skills & Attributes:
1. Strong understanding of interior design processes, fit-out methodologies, and FF&E budgeting.

1. Proven ability to manage budgets above NGN 1 billion.

2. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and cost forecasting skills.

3. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

4. Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., PlanSwift, MS Excel).
