Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Fire Fighting Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing fire protection systems, calculating required materials and pump sizes, and effectively managing the project team.
- Minimum Qualification : HND
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 3 years
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop comprehensive firefighting systems, including sprinkler and hydrant networks.
- Perform detailed calculations for material requirements, pipe sizing, and pump capacities.
- Prepare accurate drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and other relevant design tools.
- Supervise installation teams, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of installed firefighting systems.
- Ensure all designs comply with national and international fire safety standards (NFPA, BS, etc.).
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in firefighting design and project implementation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation tools.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety systems, materials, and equipment specifications.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a team effectively and deliver projects within timelines.
