Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and management reports
Manage daily financial operations, general ledgers, and bank reconciliations
Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Process payroll, invoices, payments, and receivables
Ensure compliance with FIRS, LIRS, NSITF, ITF, Pension, and other statutory bodies
Support internal and external audits
Implement strong financial controls and accounting procedures
Liaise with banks, auditors, regulators, and internal departments
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
ICAN certification (mandatory)
Minimum of 3 years relevant accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho, etc.)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and numerical skills
High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
