Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Managing Director / Board of Directors

Overview

The Chief Financial Officer will lead the company's financial strategy and operations, ensuring fiscal discipline, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth. The role requires a results-driven leader with strong financial acumen, governance expertise, and the ability to align finance with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute financial strategies to drive profitability and business growth.

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and accurate financial reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax and financial regulations.

  • Manage cash flow, capital structure, and working capital efficiency.

  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.

  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Implement robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.

  • Drive automation and process optimization using tools such as SAP (FICO), Excel, and Google Sheets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, or CPA) required.

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.

  • Strong understanding of Nigerian financial laws and reporting standards.

  • Excellent relationships with major banks in Nigeria.

  • High integrity, leadership ability, and strong communication skills.
