Job Description:

We are looking for highly meticulous and proactive Inventory Staff to join our operations team. The ideal candidate must be analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of spotting even the smallest discrepancies in stock levels, invoices, delivery records, and product pricing.

You will be responsible for verifying product quantities and prices across branches and warehouse locations, conducting stock counts, recording inventory movement, identifying errors in documentation, and maintaining a clear audit trail.

Location: 4A Adekunle Fajuyi Way, Lt. Gen. T. A. Lagbaja Cantonment, Ikeja, Lagos State.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shifts: Morning & Night

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and real-time inventory records for all products
  • Cross-check prices on invoices and ensure they match system records and product labels
  • Identify and report discrepancies in product quantities, prices, or packaging
  • Receive incoming goods and verify delivery notes against purchase orders and physical stock
  • Issue stock to departments or branches and document appropriately
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts and reconcile with system reports
  • Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving stock to reduce loss and overstocking
  • Work closely with the Inventory Head, Warehouse Officers, and Cross-Checkers
  • Ensure proper labeling and barcoding of all items before dispatch
  • Keep updated reports on stock status, variances, and actions taken
  • Participate in stock audits, prepare documentation, and provide justifications for variances

Requirements:

Only candidates who meet one of the following criteria will be considered for interview:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in inventory or stock management, preferably in a retail, supermarket, or warehouse environment

OR

  • A degree or HND in Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or Computer Science, with demonstrable knowledge of inventory principles

Additional Requirements:

  • Sharp attention to detail; able to detect quantity, pricing, or documentation errors easily
  • Working knowledge of Excel and inventory management systems
  • Good understanding of pricing, invoicing, and stock documentation processes
  • Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Trustworthy and accountable with strong integrity
