Are you a sales expert with over 5 years of experience in the insurance sector selling to brokers? Then this is the right role for you. Our client, a leading insurance company, is looking for a Commercial Team Lead. As the Commercial Team Lead i.e. Branch Manager, you will be the reference point for the various business partners including Brokers, Direct, and other Business Channels, especially large customer accounts. More so, would be expected to deliver new accounts (number in line with the KPI of the team) and 100% of renewals on all existing accounts. The scope of cover includes General Business and Group Life. The role entailsRelationship management and maintaining close rapport between the company and its clients.Analyze risks and develop solutions for clients' needs as well as collate, sort, process, and interpret any request relating to life and non -life business & Operations.Prompt service delivery that supports great customer experiences and operational efficiency towards market leadership and is a key advocate of employee optimization.These objectives will be achieved through effective:Managing the business relationship with various brokers/ customers and partners through the Relationship Officers.Increase premium Income from various brokers/ customers/ partners on our General Business, Group Life, and Group Deposit AdministrationPitch pack/ proposal document for the target client/ client segment for New business acquisitionEnsure 100% renewal of Existing General Business, Group Life and Group Deposits SchemesFollow -up of outstanding Credit Notes and pending premium reconciliation with Brokers/Clients/PartnersDrive growth through increased focus on SMEs and smaller corporates while effectively managing the public sector portfolioIncrease policy count from various brokers/ customers/ partnersAcquiring retaining & building a long -term relationship with a targeted audienceIncrease General Business/Life database thereby guaranteeing huge prospects optimizing growth & profitabilityProactive review of achievable & competitive activities in the marketMaintaining persistent follow -up plans to ensure continuity of patronage. RequirementsBachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized University (Business Related preferred)Master's Degree in added advantage.5+ years' work experience, 2 of which must be in a Sales/relationship management role.Exposure to digital business models like e -commerce, B2B, and B2C marketplaces is desirable.Must have hands -on Sales and practical experience in relationship management in a corporate organizationStrong experience in consumer -facing product management and design thinkingFinancial industry experience preferred but open if relevant to digital and non -digital sales goalsDemonstrated actual practice in providing practical solutions to people's problemsA proven knowledge of all aspects of Life Business and the ability to engage and build meaningful relationships.
