Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Control Officer located in Ogun State, Nigeria. The Internal Control Officer will be responsible for conducting regular audits, implementing and monitoring internal controls, and evaluating the effectiveness of financial operations. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, identifying risks, and providing internal reports. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to enhance internal processes and communication.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Banking & Finance.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in internal control, audit, or compliance.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is an added advantage.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professional ethics.
