Role Description
We are seeking a qualified Accountant for a full-time, on-site role based in Abuja. The Accountant will manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and analysis of financial data. Responsibilities also include payroll processing, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax documents, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The accountant will collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient financial management in line with the company's objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance measures
- Proficiency in accounting software, data management tools, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA is an advantage
- Prior experience in corporate accounting or consultancy services is a plus
