About the Role

ValorPoint Holdings LTD is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Audit to lead the internal audit function. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in construction lending, investment, furniture production, and technology-driven business operations. This role ensures effective governance, robust internal controls, and compliance across all business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, and execute internal audits across all subsidiaries and business lines.
  • Develop and implement a risk-based annual audit plan aligned with company goals.
  • Review construction lending processes, credit approvals, loan structuring, disbursement controls, and repayment monitoring.
  • Evaluate financial and operational controls for investment portfolios.
  • Oversee audit activities for furniture production operations, including procurement, manufacturing, inventory, and cost-control audits.
  • Assess internal controls within tech-driven operations, systems, and digital platforms.
  • Conduct special investigations on fraud, compliance breaches, operational lapses, and irregular transactions.
  • Present audit findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and the Board Audit Committee.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Mentor and supervise the audit team for efficient delivery of audit projects.
  • Monitor and track implementation of audit recommendations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as ICAN,
  • CCA, CIA, or CISA are mandatory.
  • Minimum of 10–15 years audit experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial/supervisory audit role.
  • Proven experience auditing or working within:
  • Construction lending/real estate financing
  • Investment/asset management or investment-driven enterprises
  • Furniture production or manufacturing
  • Technology-driven companies and digital operations
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management, and audit standards.
  • Excellent analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High integrity, independence, and sound professional judgment.
