About the Role

The Inventory Officer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate records of stock levels, coordinating inventory movement, and ensuring proper documentation of materials received and issued. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate stock records and inventory databases.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
  • Verify and document all incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Generate periodic inventory reports for management review.
  • Investigate discrepancies and report any stock variances.
  • Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for efficient stock management.
  • Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • OND / HND / B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 1–3 years' experience in inventory or warehouse management.
  • Strong analytical and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory software (e.g., ERP, SAP).
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
