Role Description

This is a contract role for a Programs Officer Intern: Climate Change Mitigation being sourced for our client. The intern will be responsible for supporting climate change mitigation programs, conducting research, assisting with project management tasks, engaging with community development initiatives, and participating in event management activities. This is a hybrid role based in Abuja, allowing for some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Research and analytical skills
  • Project management and community development experience
  • Event management and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Interest or background in environmental science or climate change is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Climate Studies, Project Management, or related field preferred
