Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless operation of software and hardware systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a minimum of 1 year of IT support experience are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers and network devices.
  • Assist in data management, including maintaining accurate records and generating reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data through regular updates and backups.
  • Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.
  • Conduct user training sessions on IT tools and best practices.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging IT trends and recommend improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Serving Corps Members with relevant IT skills are encouraged to apply.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analysis or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and report generation.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
