About Africa Venture Studio

Africa Venture Studio (AVS) builds, validates, and scales high-potential African startups. We work closely with founders from idea to market fit—providing strategy, capital readiness, talent, and execution support across sectors.

We are looking for a
highly motivated Management Intern
to support day-to-day operations, strategy execution, and venture support activities across our portfolio and internal programs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Management Intern, you will:

  • Support
    strategic planning and execution
    across AVS programs and ventures
  • Assist with
    project coordination
    , timelines, and internal reporting
  • Conduct
    market, industry, and competitor research
    for venture ideas
  • Prepare
    presentation decks, briefs, and internal memos
  • Support
    founder support activities
    , meetings, and follow-ups
  • Help track
    KPIs, performance metrics, and operational progress
  • Assist in organizing
    webinars, workshops, and internal sessions
  • Perform general
    business operations and administrative support
    as needed

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in
    Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong interest in
    startups, venture building, innovation, and entrepreneurship
  • Excellent
    organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong
    written and verbal communication
    skills
  • Comfortable with
    Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and basic project tools
  • Ability to work independently in a
    fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
