JOB PURPOSE

The Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analysing, and improving operational performance across departments by leveraging data, reports, and process reviews. The role supports management decision-making by identifying inefficiencies, tracking KPIs, and recommending actionable improvements to enhance service delivery, productivity, and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Performance Monitoring

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly operational KPIs across departments and sub-units.
  • Analyse service delivery data, manpower utilisation, and productivity metrics.
  • Identify performance gaps, trends, and recurring operational issues.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare operational dashboards, scorecards, and management reports.
  • Analyse incident reports, attendance data, SLA performance, and turnaround times.
  • Provide insights to support decision-making and corrective actions.

Process Improvement

  • Review existing operational processes and workflows.
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for optimisation.
  • Recommend and support implementation of process improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder Support

  • Work closely with Operations, HR, Finance, NOC, and Field teams to gather and validate data.
  • Support management with operational reviews, audits, and performance meetings.
  • Follow up on action items and ensure timely closure.

Compliance & Controls

  • Support adherence to company policies, SOPs, and operational guidelines.
  • Assist in monitoring attendance, shift compliance, and workforce deployment.
  • Flag policy deviations and operational risks for management attention.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in operations analysis, business analysis, or a similar role
  • Experience in telecoms, engineering, logistics, or service-based organisations is an advantage

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Good reporting and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦170,000.00 per month
