Medical Devices Sales Representative – Cardiovascular

Position Summary
The Medical Devices Sales Representative - Cardiovascular is responsible for promoting, presenting, and selling Grafen's cardiovascular product portfolio to hospitals, cardiologists, catheterization labs, and healthcare institutions across Nigeria. The role includes managing relationships with key decision-makers, providing product knowledge and support, increasing market share, and ensuring full alignment with Grafen's commercial and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
• Promote and sell cardiovascular medical devices to hospitals, clinics, catheterization labs, and healthcare providers.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow market presence.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and ensure continuous revenue growth.
• Conduct regular field visits to healthcare professionals to present products and follow up on opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with cardiologists, procurement teams, surgeons, and key hospital stakeholders.
• Manage existing accounts while developing new ones to expand Grafen's customer base.
• Provide excellent after-sales support and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Product Knowledge & Demonstrations
• Deliver effective product presentations, demonstrations, and training to medical staff.
• Stay updated on clinical data, device features, and competitor products in the cardiovascular field.
• Support healthcare teams during initial device use when required.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and opportunities.
• Submit regular sales reports, activity logs, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
• Provide input for marketing strategies and product positioning.
Compliance & Administrative Duties
• Ensure adherence to Grafen's policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and inventory needs.
• Support registration processes and ensure compliance with local healthcare regulations when applicable.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in medical device sales, ideally within cardiology/cardiovascular products.
• Strong network with cardiologists, hospitals, catheterization labs, and healthcare institutions in Nigeria.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a sales territory, and travel regularly.
• Fluent in English; additional local languages are a plus.
