Role Overview
We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead the acquisition and onboarding of doctors, hospitals, and diagnostic labs onto the Chekker platform. This role requires a self-motivated, high-energy sales professional who understands the healthcare ecosystem and is driven by results and relationships.
You will play a key role in expanding our network, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring Chekker remains the most trusted platform for diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and onboard doctors, hospitals, and medical laboratories to the Chekker network.
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy focused on B2B partnerships within the healthcare sector.
- Present and demonstrate Chekker's value proposition to potential partners.
- Negotiate partnership terms, pricing, and service-level agreements.
- Manage and track sales performance metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline growth.
- Work closely with the operations and product teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and post-sign-up experience.
- Conduct regular partner check-ins to drive engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Gather and share market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to guide product and growth decisions.
- Represent Chekker at healthcare events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Health Sciences.
- Minimum of 3–5 years in sales, business development, or account management — preferably in healthtech, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
- Proven experience managing sales pipelines and achieving measurable results.
- Strong understanding of Nigeria's healthcare landscape and key stakeholder dynamics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM tools, digital marketing, and reporting dashboards.
