Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Accountant located in Asaba. The Business Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and conducting financial analysis. Daily tasks will include bookkeeping, budgeting, auditing, reconciling accounts, and providing support for financial planning and strategies. The candidate will collaborate with different departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and assist in financial decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in bookkeeping, auditing, and reconciling accounts
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with accounting software and tools
