Senior Business Development Manager

Purpose
Own strategic accounts and high-value opportunities to deliver revenue growth through cross-sell/upsell, IT Services/Panels and complex solution sales. Drive pipeline coverage to meet or exceed the 3x benchmark and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management: Expand footprint in existing accounts by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Build multi-offer proposals and manage executive-level relationships.
Pipeline Ownership: Maintain weighted pipeline coverage 3x quarterly target. Drive late-stage progression and conversion to wins.
Opportunity Leadership: Lead sales pursuits; ensure eligibility packs and compliance. Collaborate internally on strategic opportunities.
Mentorship: Coach Junior BDMs on opportunity creation, meeting discipline and CRM hygiene.
Governance & Reporting: Enforce in-house CRM standards. Report on KPIs
Minimum Qualifications
Matric Certificate required.
Degree in Sales/Marketing or Business Management (preferred).
5+ years' experience in ICT sales with proven track record in solution selling.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Strong understanding of ICT sales strategy, including Microsoft, Cloud and Networks.
