About the Role

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join our dynamic technology team on Lagos Island. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using the Microsoft .NET framework. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web and desktop applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and design patterns.
  • Integrate applications with SQL Server databases, APIs, and third-party services.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Ensure software security and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in the Microsoft development ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6–7 years of professional experience as a .NET Developer.
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular or React).
  • Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server and stored procedures.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and Azure DevOps is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, onsite team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud deployment (Azure or AWS).
