Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive diagnostics on engines (diesel, gasoline, LPG, and electric) and related mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Expertly dismantle, inspect, repair, and overhaul forklift engines and their components, including but not limited to pistons, cylinders, crankshafts, camshafts, valves, fuel injection systems, turbochargers, and cooling systems.

Apply engineering principles to identify root causes of mechanical failures and implement effective and lasting solutions.

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and hoses.

Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, starters, alternators, and control systems.

Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and system adjustments, according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures.

Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and findings.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

3+ years of hands-on mechanic engineering, engine repair and overhaul.

Demonstrable expert-level proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of engine types and manufacturers.

Exceptional ability to dismantle, repair, and reassemble complex mechanical systems with precision and accuracy, with a strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems relevant to forklifts.
