The role:

As a Product Growth Manager, you'll drive user activation, retention, and referrals across Onboard's key product offerings, from receiving USD and stablecoins to spending with cards and sending money.

You'll blend product thinking, data analysis, and experimentation to uncover friction points, run rapid tests, and turn insights into scalable growth systems.

This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and marketing, with a direct line of impact on user & business growth.

What You'll Do

1. Growth Strategy & Execution

  • Own key funnel stages from KYC → first deposit → repeat usage → referral.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and growth to identify and remove friction along these journeys.
  • Define hypotheses, design A/B or multivariate tests, and oversee execution and measurement.

2. Activation & Retention Optimization

  • Use behavioural and funnel data to identify drop-offs and design interventions that drive adoption.
  • Work with Customer Success and Community to gather real user feedback and convert it into actionable improvements.
  • Create lifecycle playbooks for onboarding, activation, and re-engagement that can scale across geographies and user segments.

3. Metrics & Insight

  • Define and monitor growth KPIs (activation, first-time deposit, retention, and referral rates).
  • Translate user and transaction data into actionable insights that inform roadmap priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Data team to design dashboards that give visibility into user journey health.

4. Experimentation & Learning

  • Lead structured experimentation cycles: prioritise, test, measure, and iterate.
  • Work with Design and Engineering to deliver high-impact experiments with minimal overhead.
  • Document learnings and integrate successful tests into the core product.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Growth and Marketing to ensure alignment between growth initiatives and product roadmap.
  • Communicate insights and progress clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive a culture of measurable growth and continuous learning.

What You'll Bring

  • 3–5 years' experience in product growth, product management, or growth marketing.
  • Strong analytical ability and familiarity with SQL, analytics dashboards, or experimentation tools.
  • Proven track record of improving key funnel metrics through product-led initiatives.
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams (engineering, data, design, marketing).
  • Deep curiosity about user behaviour and a bias toward evidence-based decisions.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to turn data into action.
  • Background in fintech, consumer tech, or marketplaces preferred.

Our Hiring Process:
  • You'll have a 30-minute chat with our HR Manager to get to know each other, learn more about the team, and ask any questions you might have about the company and the role.
  • If the interview goes well, you'll be given a short written take-home project.
  • If that goes well, you'll have a second-round interview with the hiring manager.
  • If we're both really excited, we'll request your time to speak with our CEO, Yele, for a final interview.
  • Should we both be happy to proceed, our HR manager will engage you again to discuss an offer and proceed to signing, after which we'll arrange for your remote onboarding and induction before your day 1.
