JOB TITLE: Store Keeper (Construction Site Experience Required)

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Store Keeper with solid experience working on construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing site inventory, tracking materials, ensuring proper documentation, and supporting smooth site operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive, inspect, and record all construction materials delivered to site.
  • Issue materials to site teams based on approved requisitions.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of items in the store.
  • Monitor usage levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Keep daily records of stock movement (inflow and outflow).
  • Prepare and submit stock reports to the site manager and procurement team.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Safeguard all materials against theft, damage, and weather exposure.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2–3 years proven experience as a Store Keeper on a construction site.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and use basic inventory management tools or software.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Strong organization and time-management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and integrity.
  • Must be reliable and able to work with minimal supervision.

QUALIFICATION

  • OND / HND / BSc in any discipline (preferably related to logistics, business, or construction).
  • Additional certification in inventory management is an added advantage.
