JOB OVERVIEW The Hospital Store Keeper is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of hospital supplies, equipment, and medications. The successful candidate will ensure that all store operations are carried out efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Receive and inspect all incoming goods, supplies, and equipment to ensure they meet hospital standards and specifications.Store goods, supplies, and equipment in a safe, secure, and organized manner. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.Issue goods, supplies, and equipment to authorized hospital staff, ensuring that all items are properly recorded and accounted for. Monitor stock levels, identify slow -moving or obsolete items, and initiate replenishment orders as necessary.Ensure that all store operations comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Maintain the store area in a clean, tidy, and organized condition, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.Provide training and support to hospital staff on store procedures, inventory management, and supply chain operations.Prepare and submit regular reports on store operations, inventory levels, and supply chain activities. Maintain accurate and up -to -date records of all store transactions.RequirementsRequirements: Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. At least 2 -3 years of experience in store keeping, inventory management, or supply chain operations in a hospital or healthcare setting.Certification in inventory management, supply chain management, or a related field is an added advantage.Skills: - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast -paced environment. - Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
