RoleOverviewWe are seeking aproactive and detail -oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. Thisrole is responsible for the timely preparation of monthly management accounts,budgeting, variance and cost analysis, and reconciliation of financial and costaccounts. The ideal candidate will provide critical insights to supportstrategic decision -making and ensure robust financial control within thebusiness. KeyResponsibilitiesl  Budgeting& Variance Analysis1)     Assist in preparing accurate budgets, ensuring spendingaligns with board -approved plans and OPEX/revenue targets.2)     Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviewreports, MIS, and OPEX reports for Nigeria with precision and timeliness.3)     Manage and forecast cash flow, ensuring liquidityand optimal fund utilization. l  Commercial Support & BusinessPartnering1)     Collaborate closely with the Managing Director andbusiness units to provide strategic financial support.2)     Enhance visibility into cost accounting, projectmargin analysis, value chains, and other critical financial metrics.3)     Analyze financial data to identify unusual trendsand provide actionable insights. l  Financial Reporting & Compliance1)     Support the Finance Manager in finalizing financialstatements and conducting in -depth analytical reviews.2)     Ensure robust financial controls are in place and arefunctioning effectively.3)     Oversee the Order -to -Cash (O2C) cycle, ensuringaccurate transaction recording and control implementation.4)     Provide visibility into inventory positions throughtimely management reporting.5)     Lead and support accurate and timely month -end,quarter -end, and year -end closing processes.6)     Manage and close all statutory, tax, external, andinternal audits, addressing audit queries effectively.7)     Ensure compliance with local IFRS and US GAAPaccounting standards. Qualifications& Experience·       QualifiedChartered Accountant with strong business acumen.·       Minimum of 5years of experience in Budgeting, Cost Accounting, and Financial Reporting,preferably in FMCG or similar industries.·       Hands -onexperience in MIS reporting, compliance, and commercial finance activities.·       Proficiency inMicrosoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central (MBC). Experience with Vena orTableau is an added advantage.KeyCompetencies·       Behavioral Competencies·       Strong communication skills and ability to influencestakeholders.·       High level of attention to detail and accuracy.·       Strong outcome orientation with a focus ondelivering results.FunctionalCompetencies·       Expertise inbudgeting, variance analysis, and FP&A.·       Strong skills inMIS reporting and financial analysis.·       Solidunderstanding of ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central, Vena, Tableau).
