Job Title: Rigger

Department: Engineering

Function: Network Implementation & Support

Reports To: Network Implementation & Support Engineer

Job Purpose

To support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wireless radio links, ensuring stable connectivity and excellent service delivery to corporate and residential customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, alignment, and integration of wireless radio and microwave links.
  • Conduct technical site surveys (TSS) using GPS, compass, binoculars, and link-budget tools.
  • Restore service faults within agreed timelines and provide timely feedback on incident status.
  • Execute preventive maintenance on wireless sites and network nodes.
  • Prepare accurate survey reports, installation documentation, and updates for network configuration.
  • Support internal teams in resolving customer connectivity issues and ensuring service quality.

Core Competencies

  • Strong rigging skills and knowledge of antenna technology.
  • Basic IP networking, LAN/WAN configuration, and radio troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with power systems (AC/DC) and cable termination.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and manage field operations safely.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum OND in Engineering or related field.
  • At least 1 year experience in telecommunications or wireless network support.
  • Experience with point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless technologies is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₦221,000.00 per month
