Job Summary

The Chief Security Officer (CSO) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's overall security strategy to protect personnel, assets, facilities, and information. The CSO will provide strategic leadership for all security operations, risk management, and emergency response activities, ensuring a safe and secure operating environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and standards across all company operations.

· Oversee physical security, access control, surveillance systems, and guarding services.

· Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits; recommend mitigation strategies.

· Lead incident response, investigations, and crisis management activities.

· Liaise with law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and external security partners.

· Supervise and train security personnel to ensure professionalism and compliance with company policies.

· Advise executive management on security risks and preventive measures.

· Ensure compliance with all applicable security, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree / HND in Business- related field

· Must be a retired Police Officer or retired Army Officer with a verifiable and clean service record.

· Proven experience in strategic security planning and operational execution.

· Strong knowledge of security risk management, investigations, and emergency response.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

· High level of integrity, discipline, and professionalism.

· Ability to work with senior executives and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

· Professional security certifications will be an added advantage.

· Experience in corporate, industrial, or infrastructure security environments.
