Role Description

This is a remote volunteer role for a Communications Team Lead. The Communications Team Lead will develop and oversee strategic communications plans, manage internal and external communication efforts, and ensure consistency in messaging. The role will involve leading the communications team, coordinating projects, and serving as a point of alignment across various initiatives and stakeholders. Key responsibilities also include fostering collaboration and maintaining effective communication channels within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Strong Team Leadership and Communication skills
  • Experience in Strategic Communications and Internal Communications
  • Project Management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms used for remote collaboration
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a volunteer team
  • Previous experience in non-profit organizations is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
