Soundhous Experience is a modern, immersive audio retail brand dedicated to delivering premium sound equipment and exceptional customer experiences. We blend online e-commerce, a dynamic flagship store, and partner retail outlets to create seamless experiences for our customers. We are seeking a seasoned sales leader who is equally comfortable driving digital channels, motivating in-store teams, and managing third-party retail relationships.
Role Purpose
The Team Lead – Sales (B2C) will lead the sales efforts across all B2C channels—our online store, flagship physical location, and third-party retail partners—to maximize revenue, enhance brand presence, and deliver a consistent premium customer experience. This role will be accountable for
sales results, team performance, operational execution and channel alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively lead and drive direct sales engagements and deal closures with high-net-worth individuals and homeowners, both onsite and offsite.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for the online store (website/marketplace), the flagship Soundhous Experience store and third-party retail partners to achieve or exceed sales targets, including KPIs such as revenue, conversion rate, average transaction value, repeat purchase.
- Ensure the in-store environment (flagship) delivers a premium customer experience: team engagement, store presentation, product knowledge, customer journey mapping, upselling and cross-selling.
- Work closely with the Head of Retail Operations and other functions (marketing, logistics, product) to ensure channel integration, promotional planning, inventory availability, and a cohesive brand message across all sales touchpoints.
- Monitor and analyse sales data across channels, report performance metrics, identify trends, gaps and opportunities, and translate them into actionable initiatives.
- Manage third-party retail relationships: support partner stores, training, visual merchandising standards, agreed targets, and alignment with the Soundhous Experience brand ethos.
- Collaborate with e-commerce teams to optimise online sales performance: site user experience, product merchandising, digital promotions, customer service, review management, fulfilment and returns process.
- Ensure efficient operational processes: stock management, POS optimisation, store opening/closing procedures, loss prevention and compliance with brand standards.
- Champion customer service excellence: ensure the team understands the value proposition, engages with customers in a consultative way, resolves complaints effectively, and builds long-term relationships.
- Drive brand and product knowledge: maintain deep understanding of audio visual technology trends, Soundhous's product lines, and competitive landscape; arrange product training and update sessions for the team.
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, training and performance review of sales staff; build an engaged and high-performing sales culture.
- Occasionally, participate in weekend or evening shifts (if required) and travel to third-party retail partner sites (within region) to support operations/training.

- Channel-specific revenue growth (online, flagship store, partner retail)
- Sales conversion rate (store and online)
- Average transaction value (ATV) and units per transaction
- Customer satisfaction/NPS or equivalent satisfaction metric
- Repeat purchase rate (online & In-store)
- Team attrition/turnover, productivity and training completion
- Third-party partner store performance vs. target
- Inventory sell-through rate, stock loss/prevention metrics
- Continuous training and development targets met (monthly & Quarterly) on OEM portals for self and team
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive B2C sales experience in retail and e-commerce environments; ideally some experience in premium electronics/audio or high-end consumer goods
- Proven track record of leading a sales team and achieving or exceeding targets in multiple channels
- Experience managing both online and physical store sales, and ideally working with third-party retail partners

- Technical interest in audio equipment (or willingness to learn) and ability to articulate value propositions to customers
- Strong organisational and planning skills; attention to detail
