  • To maintain the reliability, efficiency, and optimal performance of blending and packing machines by effectively supervising mechanical maintenance activities.
  • This role demands strong expertise in pneumatics and conveyor systems to reduce downtime and achieve operational objectives. 

The Job

  • Supervise and execute the maintenance, repair, and servicing of blending and packing machines. 
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to pneumatics, conveyors, and other critical systems. 
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. 
  • Lead a team of fitters to ensure timely and quality maintenance activities. 
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history. 
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards in all maintenance tasks. 
  • Identify and procure necessary spare parts and tools for effective maintenance operations. 

Requirements

  • 5 O' level/NABTEB credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings. 
  • OND in Mechanical Engineering. 
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. 

The Person Must:

  • Have good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Efficient planning and execution of maintenance schedules. 
  • Have the willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and protocols. 
  • Ability to supervise and motivate a team of maintenance personnel.
