Job summary

Our client, a rapidly expanding mobile financing company, is seeking a Finance Associate to join their dynamic team

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts
  • Perform reconciliations and ensure all financial data is accurate
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and invoices
  • Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
  • Handle billing issues and communicate with clients regarding payments
  • Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel to manage financial information
  • Support audits and budgeting processes
  • Maintain confidentiality and secure financial data
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to process improvements

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role
  • ICAN certification is a MUST
  • Strong proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliation, and the use of accounting software
  • Adept computer skills and proficiency using programs like QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced math skills to keep accurate records and supervise the bookkeeping of an organisation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact regularly with clients regarding sensitive topics like billing and payments
  • Excellent organisation skills for maintaining clear, accurate, and meticulous financial records for a company
  • Attention to detail for ensuring the accuracy of a company's records and invoices
  • Multitasking to successfully handle multiple accounts, invoices, and payments at various stages of execution
  • Excellent efficiency for handling any accounting issues quickly with minimal interference
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced
