Your Mission (Responsibilities)

Operations & Production Management

  • Oversee daily operations and production, including staffing, scheduling, inventory, procurement, maintenance, logistics, and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor production department performance and implement improvements to maximize efficiency.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to uphold service and operational standards.
  • Foster teamwork, collaboration, and a positive work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide actionable feedback for continuous improvement.

Customer Service

  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor online reviews, feedback platforms, and e-commerce systems to address issues and capitalize on positive feedback.

Financial Management

  • Develop, manage, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial goals.
  • Analyse financial reports and KPIs to identify trends and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor food, labor, and overhead costs to ensure profitability.

Marketing & Sales

  • Collaborate with marketing to implement initiatives that drive sales and brand awareness.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.

Strategy & Community Development

  • Develop growth strategies with the leadership team.
  • Review SOPs regularly to align with business vision.
  • Build relationships with community stakeholders and participate in events to strengthen brand presence.

What Winning Looks Like (KPIs)

  • Sales Revenue: Total sales, year-over-year growth.
  • Average Check Size: Track per customer spending trends.
  • Labour Cost Percentage: Compare actual to budgeted labor costs.
  • Food Cost Percentage: Monitor and manage food cost variance.
  • Guest Satisfaction Scores: Ratings from surveys and review platforms.
  • Profit Margin: Ensure revenue translates into sustainable profit.
  • Employee Turnover Rate: Measure and improve retention by department.
  • Cost of Goods Sold (COGS): Analyse purchasing costs vs. revenue.
  • Customer Retention Rate: Track repeat customers and loyalty program effectiveness.
  • Table Turnover Rate: Ensure efficient table utilization.
  • Online & Social Media Engagement: Track followers, interactions, and engagement.
  • Health Inspection Scores: Maintain high scores during regulatory inspections.

What You Need to Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in a senior management role within hospitality or food service.
  • Strong leadership, financial, and operational management experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic mindset with focus on customer experience, growth, and profitability.

Life in This Role

  • Location: Lagos
  • Work cycle: Monday – Sunday (1 day off).
  • Fast-paced role requiring multi-department management, leadership, and strategic oversight.
  • Flexibility to work extra hours and travel as required.
