Role Overview

We're looking for a passionate and creative
Flutter Developer
to join our growing TravelTube engineering team. You'll be responsible for building and optimizing our mobile app across Android and iOS, developing engaging user interfaces, integrating APIs, and ensuring a smooth, fast, and beautiful user experience for our global community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, SDKs, and third-party services (e.g., video streaming, location services, payment systems).
  • Optimize app performance and ensure cross-platform compatibility.
  • Work with the backend team to define data structures and synchronize real-time data.
  • Implement new features, animations, and interactive elements that enhance user engagement.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring stability and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and product brainstorming sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Flutter and Dart development.
  • Experience building and deploying apps on both Android and iOS platforms.
  • Proficiency in RESTful API integration and third-party libraries.
  • Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
  • Knowledge of Firebase or similar cloud services.
  • Experience with version control (Git, GitHub).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)

  • Experience with video streaming platforms (e.g., Agora, Mux, or YouTube API).
  • Knowledge of geolocation, maps, and real-time communication (chat, notifications).
  • Understanding of app analytics and optimization for engagement.
  • Experience integrating AI or recommendation systems.
  • Interest in travel, culture, or social media applications.
